CLAIRE AUDREY AGUAYO

writer / director

Claire is a writer, director, and artist whose current work focuses on the complex interior lives and relationships of women. Her observational voice lends itself toward elevated realism and dark humor, often filtered through a lens of mental health. With a deep interest in peoples’ inner lives, she is committed to telling stories with emotional integrity and everyday beauty.

In 2020, Claire wrote, produced, and directed her first short film, THE WEDDING PAINTING. In 2021, she wrote and co-produced her first feature film, MARISOL (currently making festival rounds). In 2022, she completed a short story, THE YEAR OF THE SAVIOR, with plans to publish it and adapt it for the screen. She is currently developing a feature screenplay, LOLA, with goals to raise funding and direct it herself.

Claire earned a degree in English from UCLA. She now lives in Northeast Los Angeles with her husband and two dogs.

STEPHANIE AGUAYO

producer

Stephanie is a producer, marketer, and creative consultant whose work spans commercial and branded, theatrical film, and communications fields. Stephanie has worked in production on over 10 feature films and previously marketed 25+ films at Viacom Media Networks (now Paramount Media Networks) and Sony Pictures. She started her career as the executive assistant to the head of the U.S office of Equity Pictures, a Munich-based film fund that backed films including Relative Strangers, Hostage, The Matador, 16 Blocks and The Black Dahlia. Stephanie brings a commitment and passion to support women and non-binary filmmakers and the belief that films have the power to shift narratives and create social and cultural change.

Stephanie holds a marketing degree from Colorado State University. She is an Angeleno bitten by the film bug after watching Steven Spielberg’s E.T. as a child. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her cat, Winona.
